Accessibility statement
Our commitment
Eludia Events S.r.l. — Società Benefit is committed to making this website accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities, in line with Directive (EU) 2019/882 (European Accessibility Act), Italian Legislative Decree 82/2022, and the technical standard EN 301 549, which references the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA.
Conformance status
This website is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 level AA. “Partially conformant” means that most of the content meets the standard, while some parts — listed below — do not yet fully conform.
Non-accessible content and known limitations
Decorative imagery and motion: the home hero uses a decorative city-skyline graphic and an animated keyword banner. Automated testing tools cannot reliably measure the contrast of text that overlaps these decorative layers and may report it as insufficient; the underlying text has been manually verified to meet AA contrast against its dark background.
Faculty photographs: speaker images are provided by the medical management backend with the person’s name as alternative text. Where a photograph is not yet available, an on-brand placeholder with the person’s initials is shown.
Third-party services: the payment step is handled by Stripe or PayPal on their own pages, which follow their own accessibility standards and are outside our direct control.
Documents: some downloadable PDF documents (for example the scientific programme or invoices) may not be fully tagged for assistive technologies. An accessible alternative can be requested using the contact details below.
Compatibility and technologies
The website is designed to work with current versions of the major browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge) and with screen readers. It relies on HTML, WAI-ARIA, CSS and JavaScript; where JavaScript is unavailable, core content and the registration information remain readable.
Accessibility features include: keyboard operability with a visible focus indicator, a “skip to content” link, semantic landmarks and headings, descriptive labels on forms and controls, respect for the operating-system “reduce motion” preference, and responsive layouts that support up to 200% zoom and small screens.
Preparation of this statement
This statement was prepared on 5 June 2026 by self-assessment. The evaluation combined automated testing (axe-core and pa11y), manual keyboard and screen-reader checks, and visual contrast verification. The statement is reviewed when the website changes significantly.
Feedback and contact
We welcome your feedback on the accessibility of this website. If you encounter a barrier, or need a document in an accessible format, please contact the Organising Secretariat at info@allaround.eludiaevents.it. We aim to respond within 30 days.
Enforcement procedure
If you are not satisfied with our response, in Italy you may contact the Agenzia per l’Italia Digitale (AgID), the authority responsible for monitoring accessibility, through the channels published on www.agid.gov.it.
