Google Ads measurement (optional)

With your consent, when this feature is enabled, we use the Google Ads tag to attribute completed congress registrations to advertisements. Google may receive advertising click and cookie identifiers, the page visited, browser/device and connection data, and a pseudonymous registration transaction identifier. The conversion value of EUR 1 is a measurement unit, not a payment or revenue amount. We do not send names, email addresses, phone numbers or registration form contents through this integration; enhanced conversions and ad personalization are not enabled.

The Google tag is loaded only after acceptance. Google Analytics is not used for this measurement and Umami remains separate. Google Ads first-party cookies (names beginning _gcl_, such as _gcl_aw) are configured on allaround.eludiaevents.it with a 90-day duration. A transaction marker in session storage prevents repeated events within the browser tab and is removed when the session ends. Events completed without consent are not replayed after later acceptance.

Google Ireland Limited provides the service and Google may process measurement data outside the EEA. You may withdraw consent through Cookie preferences without affecting your congress registration.

What are cookies

Cookies are small text files stored on your device. Essential cookies support the operation of this website. When Google Ads measurement is enabled, advertising measurement cookies are used only after you expressly accept them in Cookie preferences. Refusing does not affect registration or access to the website.

Cookies we use

Technical/necessary cookies: e.g. the language-preference cookie (NEXT_LOCALE) and cookies strictly necessary for the site to function. They do not require consent.

Fonts are self-hosted; no third-party font cookies are set. Card and PayPal payments are handled on the payment provider's own secure pages (Stripe or PayPal), to which you are redirected: any of their cookies are set on their own domain, not ours. The newsletter is processed server-side, with no embedded third-party form.

Analytics

We use a privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics tool (Umami Cloud) that measures aggregate, anonymous traffic (e.g. page views, referrers, country, device) without cookies and without identifying individual visitors. No personal data is stored and no consent is required.

Managing cookies

When Ads measurement is enabled, use Cookie preferences in the footer to accept, refuse or withdraw consent at any time. Your choice is stored in local storage (aapfs_ads_consent_v1) for up to 180 days; the former “Got it” acknowledgement is not treated as advertising consent. Withdrawal stops future conversion events and removes accessible Google Ads cookies on this subdomain; it does not undo data already sent. You can also delete cookies through your browser settings.
